About the Job

As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for preparing and installing reinforcement steel according to construction drawings and project specifications. The job requires good practical knowledge of reinforcement work, proper measurement, and attention to spacing and alignment.

You may work on different parts of a construction project, including columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and walls.

Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Read and understand construction drawings and reinforcement details.
• Cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel bars according to specifications.
• Install reinforcement steel for columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and walls.
• Tie steel bars using binding wire and appropriate tools.
• Maintain the correct spacing, alignment, and positioning of reinforcement.
• Prepare reinforcement cages and other steel structures.
• Follow site safety rules and construction requirements.
• Work with other construction workers to complete reinforcement activities on time.
