Job Description
The Customer Service Agent role sits at the heart of QACC’s aircraft catering operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that aircraft are loaded correctly and safely according to the Food Safety Standard and the Galley Loading Plan, with all loading completed within agreed timeframes. Working in a fast-paced airport environment, you will coordinate between catering production teams and flight operations so every departing aircraft is fully and correctly catered.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure correct and safe loading of aircraft in line with the Food Safety Standard
- Work to the Galley Loading Plan (GLP), menu specifications and loading timeframes
- Coordinate with catering and flight operations teams for smooth loading turnarounds
- Check that all catering items match the aircraft’s service and passenger profile
- Report loading discrepancies or delays promptly to the duty team
- Follow airside safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Support short, medium-haul and private flight catering operations as scheduled
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School qualification with minimum 1 year job-related experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree (no experience required)
- Knowledge of the Galley Loading Plan, menu specifications and aircraft galley layout
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- Awareness of food safety and airside safety standards
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physically fit for an active ramp-side role
- No Gulf experience or Gulf licence required — international applicants are welcome
