Key Responsibilities
The selected doctors will be responsible for conducting pre-employment, periodic and exit medical examinations to assess employees’ fitness for duty and identify potential workplace health risks.
The role will also involve diagnosing and managing common occupational illnesses and injuries, providing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans, and supporting employee health programs.
The General Practitioner will also help develop health surveillance programs based on workplace hazards and employee exposure. Candidates may be required to advise employers regarding workplace health and safety requirements, risk assessments and appropriate control measures.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have an MBBS or equivalent medical degree along with full registration with the relevant medical council.
Candidates should have:
- Minimum 5 years of post-registration clinical experience
- At least 3 years of occupational health experience
- Experience in industrial sites and occupational health
- Ability to conduct medical assessments
- Knowledge of diagnostic tests and treatment planning
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
