Job Description

Emirates cabin crew are the face of the airline. Based in Dubai, crew members operate flights across six continents, looking after passengers from many different cultures on every flight. The role is about far more than serving meals — safety is the highest priority, and crew are trained to lead confidently, manage cabin services, and handle security and safety procedures on board. Emirates provides full training before you start flying, along with free furnished accommodation in Dubai, transport to and from the airport, and comprehensive medical, life and dental insurance. The salary is tax-free and includes a monthly flying pay component and meal allowances for night stops.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew throughout the flight
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service to passengers from all over the world
• Carry out pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate safety procedures to passengers
• Serve meals and beverages and assist passengers with their needs during the flight
• Handle onboard emergencies and first-aid situations calmly and confidently
• Work as part of a multicultural team and follow the captain’s and senior crew’s instructions

Desired Candidate Profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)
• At least 21 years old and educated to high school level (Grade 12)
• At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service
• At least 160 cm tall and able to reach 212 cm (to reach emergency equipment)
• No visible tattoos while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform
• A natural team player with a positive attitude and a personality that shines
• Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements and adapt to a demanding flying schedule
