 Key Roles & Responsibilities

As a Port Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Inspections: Conduct regular safety and operational inspections of port facilities and vessels.

• Maintenance Planning: Create and manage maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.

• Technical Support: Work closely with port management and ship crews to resolve technical issues quickly.

• Equipment Setup: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery in line with maritime regulations.

 Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in port operations and marine equipment maintenance.

• Certifications: Marine Engineering Officer (MEO) or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.

• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and experience managing maintenance budgets.
